Responding to COVID-19

Check out our YouTube playlist of COVID-19 updates from our team at REST.

Updated July 2, 2020.

*****

REST has been closely monitoring guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and King County Public Health regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are deeply committed to the wellbeing of our clients, staff, volunteers, supporters, and our broader community.

As of today, March 24, 2020, we intend to keep our services open and are working with each one of our teams to implement special precautions depending on the spaces and services type. Our hope is to continue to provide safe and welcoming services for our clients who often rely on REST to meet their basic needs.

We are, however, making some changes to our upcoming public events:

REST Training Day is now virtual!

REST Training Day, originally scheduled for April 4, is rescheduled for two virtual sessions on July 16 and 23. We will be reaching out to people who have already registered to communicate this change. Registration is still open, and you are more than welcome to join us for our next REST Training Day. Because this quarter’s RTD is virtual, it’s an excellent opportunity for people from outside of King County to join us!

More info coming on upcoming virtual events!

As mentioned, we are continually monitoring advice from the CDC and King County Public Health and will update this blog as new info and guidance become available.
