H.O.P.E. for Community Members

We are excited to introduce our new training, H.O.P.E. | Human Trafficking Outreach, Prevention, Education for Community Members, which replaces our previous REST Training Day. H.O.P.E. is designed for community members who are eager to understand the fundamental dynamics of sex trafficking. This training will also explore various opportunities for volunteering with REST.

In the H.O.P.E. training, participants will gain:

  • Comprehensive Understanding: Learn about the realities of sex trafficking, including the factors that contribute to these issues, the impact on victims and survivors and a story from a survivor with lived experience.

  • Prevention Strategies: Discover effective strategies for preventing trafficking and exploitation within your community.

  • Education and Advocacy: Equip yourself with the knowledge to educate others and advocate for policies that protect and support victims and survivors.

H.O.P.E. is open to anyone interested in making a difference in the fight against human trafficking. This includes:

  • Community members

  • Educators

  • Volunteers

If you are a social worker, healthcare professional, mental health counselor, case manager, shelter staff, legal advocates or any professional involved in direct service provision to vulnerable populations, please sign up for our H.O.P.E. for Service Providers.
