Provide a meal at Drop-in!

Each night for our emergency shelter guests, and four days a week for our Drop-in guests, REST provides dinner. Please help us meet this important need by signing up to provide dinner for 15 guests. Whether one time, once a month, or once a week, this is a meaningful and practical way of serving survivors of human trafficking.

Too busy? We would also love gift cards to Safeway and area restaurants!

Wound Kits

Since opening our emergency shelter, REST has been blessed to partner with SPU's Health Sciences Department to provide basic medical check-ups and minor wound care. As a result, REST is in need of some medical supplies to help us care well for our clients.

We'd love to help meet this need!

Undergarments Needed

Frequently, REST receives loads of clothing donations. And we are incredibly grateful. However, some items often overlooked are undergarments. Lack of access to properly fitting bras and underwear can leave women feeling uncomfortable, ashamed and undignified.

We need your help providing new undergarments & clothing items in all sizes, including plus:

Welcome Basket

Moving into a new home for any of us can be a stressful, but it is especially hard for women coming out of the sex trade. The women are joining a new environment, with a new community and it is likely to be a home like they’ve never experienced before. Help us welcome her home and minimize the stress by creating a gift basket to commemorate her new life. The cost of a welcome basket is around $100.00. All items should be new and nonperishable. Please place items in a decorative basket. Do not include items beyond this list. Please pray for the girl who will receive this welcome basket.

Gift Cards

More than one million kids are homeless and living on the streets in America. Many of them enter the sex trade. In fact, within 48 hours of leaving home, 1 out of 3 kids will become a victim of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Often, by the time they leave the life they have very little, if any, possessions like clothing, shoes and basic items for self care. A gift card helps us provide for their basic needs. The cost of a gift card can be made in any amount: $10; $25; $50 or $100 is suggested.

Gift Bag

This gift bag is given to girls out on the track who are actively in the life. This gift along with the message of our street outreach volunteers is that Jesus loves them, offers them love, grace, hope and a new life. This tangible gift opens doors for conversations where we can learn about other needs they might have. We also provide hygiene items that they typically donʼt have access to through their pimps so they can properly care for themselves. The cost of the gift bag is approximately $7.

Place items in a small clear sized bag with a twist tie. Do not include items beyond on this list. Please pray for the girl who will receive this bag.
